I loved the film myself!! But that's just me.

At least you were willing to compare film to film instead of most people who seem stuck on comparing it to the book on which it wasn't based in the first place. ;~D

At least the newer version didn't have the extremely whiny Trillian that the BBC version had . . . that aspect sure was better. I could deal with never hearing that hagish voice again . . .

I had trouble imagining Ford Prefect as a black american man for the first part . . . but I got into it a lot. I loved it. Wish they could have gotten to the restaurant . . .

The movie was amusing, but the BBC version was definately better for me. Loved the books.
