Absolute and utter nonsense.. Rubbish!
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things. Of shoes, and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings."
Comics to be read...
Recommendation for online perusing, 1.0

Just an addendum to my earlier article,
My Own Precious
, here is a list of online comics that one can peruse freely. Some are already published, but have kept their archives free online.. Most, however, are a labour of love on the behalf of the author/artist.
These comics are what have appealed to me specifically, and what I consider to be the best of the best. Not everyone would agree with me.
*
Megatokyo
by Fred Gallagher - Story of two Americans "trapped" in Japan. Complete with zombies, magical girls, Good versus Evil, and Sony accessories that wear really short school skirts. Also available are
Volume 1/4
for those of you who prefer the actual hard copy versions.
*
Sokora Refugees
by Segamu and Melissa Dejesus - School girls, busty elves, not so busty furries and the ever evil bishie looking guy somewhere in the background. A funny and interesting read, with really great art. Also available is
Volume 1
for the hard copy.
*
Inverloch
by Sarah Ellerton - Dakors, elves, thieves, sorcery, and the fate of the world. Beautiful art direction and a lovely story. Also available are
Volume 1/2
for the hard copy.
*
Earthsong
by Lady Yates – A host of worlds, remnants, Good versus Evil, and a beautiful young woman with no memories. How could you not like this?
*
Lancaster, Ghost Detective
by Phil Gibson – a not-so-human cast of Detectives, Psychics, Evil Maniacs, Ghosts, and Regular Joes.. Did I mention the ghosts?
*
Darken
by Kate Ashwin/Mike Foulks – A really good story with rougher artwork, but nonetheless good. Again, the Good versus Evil theme with minions of the underworld..and those are the good guys.
*
Applegeeks
by Mohammad Haque/Ananth Panagariya – Beautiful colors, wacky cast, exceptional art. Dude builds robot. Robot gets stolen, taken to Japan. Dude gets robot back. Oh, and the robot is a hot chick.
*
Dungeons & Dorks
by Artmonkey/Richard M./Jenn – A really smart and funny take on D&D.
These are just a few of my favorites. These are also some of what I consider to be the best artwork and story lines out there today. These artists and writers are straining against their boundaries while creating fantastic stories and artwork.
So, if you like comic books and fantasy, please check these guys out. It’s worth an afternoon read.

Thanks!
It strikes me that almost no one I know is into online comics, or comic books at all. Which is fine and dandy, but I truly think more people would enjoy the medium if they would just give it a chance. Most of the people I know that I've showed my comic to are just blasted away by the mere fact that I'm actually doing it. They have absolutely no concept of what's out there, and it's truly a shame that this artform is relegated to a few otaku.
I think I might start doing small reviews of different online comics (like that hasn't been done to death) here, just in case someone might come across it.
